The EFD™ technology is deployed in SDG&E’s network to continuously monitor for signs of potential electrical faults that could spark wildfires.
By identifying and addressing these issues before they escalate, SDG&E is able to significantly reduce the risk of wildfire incidents, enhance public safety, and ensure a more resilient power grid in fire-prone areas.
