Southern California Edison (SCE) has incorporated IND Technology’s Early Fault Detection (EFD) system into their wildfire mitigation strategy to enhance the safety and reliability of their electrical infrastructure. The EFD system continuously monitors for early signs of electrical faults, such as damaged conductors or compromised components, which could potentially ignite wildfires. By identifying these issues in real-time, SCE is able to proactively address and mitigate risks, significantly reducing the likelihood of wildfire incidents and improving overall network resilience in high-risk areas.
